Get Fern installed and take your first steps.

1. Install Fern - download a binary or install from source
2. Create a vault - set up a place to keep your notes
3. The Interface - a tour of the sidebar, viewer, and command bar
4. Write your first note - open the editor and start writing
5. Try the demo vault - explore a ready-made example vault
